Event Details

Alan Partridge, who has been a community worker, activist and an articulate and compassionate voice for voluntary action in Newham since 1975, is sadly leaving the borough at the end of September.

On Wednesday 21 September, friends and colleagues from Newham's voluntary, community and faith sectors are gathering between 5pm and 7pm at Harold Road Community Centre, where Alan is currently the manager, to celebrate his longstanding and positive contribution to the borough and to wish him and Joyce well in their retirement.

If you would like to make a donation towards the collection we are making for Alan, please enter an amount above and make a payment by credit card.

Alternatively, you can send a cheque made payable to 'The Community Involvement Unit' and return it  by Friday 16 September at the latest to:

The Community Involvement Unit (CIU) is a team of specialists providing a comprehensive package of quality advice and information aimed at supporting and strengthening voluntary and community groups. The unit was established in 1991 and is based at Durning Hall in Forest Gate.
